Are you a Tourist in Canada but want to stay with a Work permit?

We can help!

We are accepting applications from candidates who are already in Canada with hospitality experience.  Available positions:

  1. Food Counter Attendant
  2. Maintenance Labourer

We do NOT have approved LMIAs but offer alternative pathways to obtain a work permit. In order to use these pathways, certain criteria is REQUIRED.

PATHWAY #1:

  • Have at minimum a 1-year post-secondary Diploma or Certificate, preferably in Hospitality or a related field
  • Have recent work experience in the Hospitality industry for 2 years or more
  • Permanently settle in Manitoba
  • Have an ILETS or CLB score of 5 overall or be willing to complete an English test within 30 days

Optional / Preferred:  Have previously visited Russell, MB and/or have connections in Manitoba

PATHWAY #2:

  • Have at minimum a 1-year post-secondary Diploma or Certificate, preferably in Hospitality or a related field
  • Have recent work experience in the Hospitality industry for 2 years or more
  • Be able to speak French

  • a copy of your tourist visa with entrance stamp

  • If you speak French, an explanation of where you learned French or a French test score.

About Us:
The Russell Inn Hotel & Conference Centre is a year-round, first class facility that has been providing a wide range of hospitality services to our local community, as well as thousands of travelers, skiers, and conference guests for over 50 years!  Our hotel has 122 rooms between three properties, indoor pool, waterslide and hot tub, conference centre, restaurant, Pizza Hut Express, Subway Sandwich store, Tim Hortons, Pub, convenience store, Esso gas bar and beer store all on site.  We employ approximately 130 staff.  We are also the founder and majority owner of Asessippi Ski Area & Resort.
