We are searching for our next Convenience Store Manager, only our 3rd in 34 years, who will have a strong sense of pride in their work, a great work ethic and run the store like their very own.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Providing great customer service and shopping experiences at our C-Centre
- Effectively managing a staff of 12 – 20 employees, of all ages
- Managing the daily operations of the store while meeting targets/goals for sales, labour and costs
- Managing and controlling inventory
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers and ensuring product orders are accomplished accurately and on time
- Manage a loss prevention program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail and/or management experience
- Enthusiastic team leader with the ability to motivate others
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
