The Russell Inn is currently recruiting Public Area & Housekeeping Room Attendants for our properties, which include The Jolly Lodger, Stone Haus, Cedar House, Subway & Tim Hortons.

This position includes duties such as:

  • Preparing guest rooms for arrival which includes making beds, vacuuming, sanitizing washrooms, dusting, etc.
  • Laundry duties such as stripping beds, sorting, washing, and folding.
  • Cleaning public areas such as washrooms, kitchen, bar, restaurant, offices and C-Centre building (night duty).
  • Laundry duties such as stripping beds, sorting, washing, and folding.
  • Evening duty shift that cleans rooms, hallways and public areas, does laundry and sanitizes property washrooms.

Full training is provided. Shifts are flexible and include day shifts (approx. 8:30a – 3:00p), evening shifts (approx. 6p – 10p) and night duty (3a – 11a).

Candidate must be in good physical condition as the position requires repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, and some lifting.

About us. The Russell Inn Hotel & Conference Centre is a year-round, first class facility that has been providing a wide range of hospitality services to our local community, as well as thousands of travellers, skiers, and conference guests for over 50 years. Our hotel has 122 rooms between three properties, indoor pool, waterslide and hot tub, conference centre, restaurant, Pizza Hut Express, Subway Sandwich store, Tim Hortons with drive-thru, pub, convenience store, Esso gas bar and beer store all on site.
